Research And Implementation Of Monitoring And Analyzing System For Signaling In Mobile Communication Network

In the development of mobile communication network, because of GSM having a perfect technical specification, using a generic signaling system, which is international and standard, GSM has been rapid developed and widely used. Along with the increase of the complexity of the network and customer’s requirement, in order to understand the second generation of mobile communication network’s operation state, improve the quality of network service, build a monitoring and analyzing system for signaling in mobile telecommunication network to maintain and manage the GSM signaling is becoming more and more important, which will be a big part of the GSM.This paper studies the structure and protocols between the network’s entities of the second generation of mobile telecommunication network, analyses the process of calling, short message and location business in GSM, focus on No.7signaling system, which is used in GSM, researches the signaling message which is for the application layer MAP. After the studies job, put forward a monitoring and analyzing system for signaling in mobile communication network, which can get the message by listening an communicating port, analyze the message to get the user’s data, store the user’s data which is consist of calling, short message and location in local, making the query and analyzing user’s behavior convenient.In this paper, the technology foundation part introduces the entities and protocols between the GSM network, C++and Linux which will be used in the implementation process, then gives clear demand analysis and definition. On the basis of the studies, put forward the method to design and implement this monitoring and analyzing system. This paper gives the details of every function module and the communication method between each two modules, completes the implementation of the system. At last, this paper tells the necessary testing and verification.
