Computer technology in the telecommunication call center has been used more and more widely, from the conventional CTI, ACD technology to the next generation network technology NGN, and by combining with computer technology, telecom call center in today’s society is playing an increasingly important role.As one of the multimedia technology, TTS(text to speech technology) transfer the traditional text information on paper, into audio information-one kind of multimedia information, It works especially very well in the telecommunication call center where synthetized speech sound is played to the end user over the telephone line. It has greatly expanded the range of telecommunication call center function, improves the call center service quality, enhances the enterprise’s core competitiveness.The object of this paper is how to fulfill TTS’s application into the telecommunication call center. Firstly, the background information of the subject and the key technology which may related are briefly introduced, then there is a detailed analysis of TTS speech synthesis subsystem specific functional goals. After that we finished the concept design of the TTS subsystem according to the functional requirements, and completed the system detail design. According to the detailed design of the system that mentioned above, we use several key technology that mentioned above to implement the TTS subsystem in telecommunication call center.Finally, we run a complete set of test programs for the development and implementation of the TTS text-to-speech subsystem, which include two aspects of detailed testing, the functional test and the performance test. For all the problems we found in our testing, we analysis them respectively, and perform careful research, try to solve them one by one. Ultimately to ensure that the research and implementation of the TTS speech synthesis subsystem works in a good situation in the practical telecommunication call center.At the end of this thesis, We summarize all the work we have done on the research topic, trying to gain experience from what have been done related to the research and look for the possible further research directions in the future.
