| With gradually completion of TD-LTE protocols, more and more mobile telecoms equipment firms and terminal manufacturers are developing TD-LTE communication products. In the same time, China Mobile and some foreign network operators are building TD-LTE networks and making it commercially available. It proves that the extensive-commerce of TD-LTE is just around the corner. The most important constraint on the development of TD-LTE industrial chain is the lack of mobile phones. As an indispensable part of industrial chain, terminal test instrument plays a very important role in the course of TD-LTE industrialization. This thesis is sponsored by TD-LTE Protocol Testing Platform project, and its main work is researching and implementing the RLC entity.The thesis is organized as following:Firstly, the background and the objective of the thesis are stated, then so are the research progresses and achievements.Secondly, the architectures of access network and air interface are reviewed. Then the Protocol Testing Platform is introduced by two parts: the hardware and the software architectures.Thirdly, architecture and function of TD-LTE RLC entity are stated. Transparent Mode, Unacknowledged Mode and Acknowledged Mode, the three modes of RLC, are detailed analyzed, to lay a solid foundation for the implementation of RLC entity.Then, the TD-LTE RLC entity is designed and implemented on the TD-LTE Protocol Testing Platform. Two parts are stated. One is about the design of data structures, the other is about the design of the entity’s function. In addition, a unit testing environment is set up to validate the correction of the project. The testing results have shown that the RLC entity function is proper in accordance with3GPP protocol.Finally, at the end of the thesis, a conclusion is summarized, and the disadvantages and the future directions are pointed out.All the achievements in this thesis have been successfully implemented in the TD-LTE Protocol Testing Platform and have been working well. |
