Compared with conventional mobile telecommunication system, LTE Advanced network can extend coverage and support higher data transmission rates using relay technology.In the LTE system network, higher rates are requested by the users. However, only in the higher carrier frequency area, wider band can be achieved at the cost of more penetration loss. If we resolve the problem by extend macro coverage, we need to set up more sites at the cost of more investment. In order to meet the request of higher transmission data rates by the next generation mobile system, relay technology is introduced and applied in LTE Advanced system.In the wireless relay system, users can get service by accessing the relay nodes instead of the conventional macro sites. Between the base station and relay nodes, fixed outdoor antenna can be installed. And proper antenna parameters can reduce the loss and increase the sinr values and thus data transmission can take higher modulation schemes.As the MIMO can improve the spectrum efficiency, it has become one of the key technologies in the LTE and LTE-Advanced system. Beamforming is a technology of signals preprocessing based on the antenna array by adjusting the weights of the antenna coefficients. Combining the MIMO and beam forming technology, the wireless system can extend coverage and achieved higher throughput.At the beginning of the paper, mobile communication is reviewed briefly and the structure of the paper is provided. Then, the key technology of TD-LTE and TD-LTE Advanced is introduced. Next, TD-LTE Advanced system level simulation is introduced, including Initial Section, Channel Section, Mobility management Section, Resource allocation Section, Power control Section, SINR Section. Finally, several simulation schemes are carried out based on the simulation platform including downlink MU-MIMO and beamforming MU-MIMO, uplink LI Relay and uplink L3Relay.
