The frequency hopping communication technology is vigorously developed andwidely applied for its outstanding advantages such as anti-interference, low interceptionrate, anti-fading and multi-site networking in the past few decades. To satisfy the higherrequirement in anti-interference and transmission rate, frequency hoppingcommunication technology is developing mainly towards higher jumping speed andlarger bandwidth in the modern satellite communication systems and othercommunication systems.With the increasing of hopping rate and tramission rate in the frequency hoppingsystem, the requirement of signal processing speed is faster, otherwise the informationwill miss. The higher hopping speed, the shorter standing time. The synchronizationmodule is the core of the signal processing in the frequency hopping communicationsystem, which decide the effectiveness of the system. The synchronization mechanismof broadband and high-speed frequency hopping signals have been studied based on theresearch of frequency hopping communication mechanism. The method ofsynchronization prefix is the key technology in the research, the methods of thefrequency search of slow scan,serial sliding correlation capturing and delay locked loophave been deeply researched and analyzed. On the basis of the research above, aiming atthe characteristics of the broadband and high-speed frequency hopping signal and theadvantages and shortcomings of the serial sliding correlation capture method incomplexity of system structure, the ability of anti-jamming and the capture timeexpected, the method of serial sliding correlation capturing method has been proposed,which has been named as broadband and high-speed frequency hopping signal based onFFT capture method and deeply studied and simulated. Finally, the performance of thetwo capture methods have been analyzed and compared. The simulation results showthat, the based on FFT capture method can satisfy the requirement in fast captureing ofbroadband and high-speed frequency hopping signal.The serial circular correlation method based on FFT has been designed on theplatform of ISE13.1based on the theorical research and simulation of serial circular correlation method based on FFT, which provide technology foundation for the furtherproject achievement and application.
