The Design And Realisation Of The Local Clearing System In Suzhou City, Jiangsu Bank

The local clearing operation is for clearing funds within the financial institutions at thesame city and is led by the local People’s Bank. The local clearing system is establishedfor local payment and settlement system by the People’s bank and it is an important part ofthe payment and settlement system in China. In our country, the local clearing system isdeveloped from the mode of the traditional manual ticket to the central clearing by thePeople’s Bank. It is making the big strides forward and it is developing very rapidly inrecent years. Also it is the major payment and settlement system except the minor andmajor settlement system of Banker’s bank. In order to provide the better financial servicesand establish the advanced and efficient platform of payment, transfer and informationexchange, the local (Suzhou) clearing system was upgraded by the people’s bank inSuzhou city while the bank clearing system also need to be upgraded. The purpose of thisresearch is based on the requirement of the new version of the local clearing system of thePeople’s bank, to develop a set of operation system of commercial bank which is matchedwith the local clearing system at the bank.Firstly, in this essay, the content of the new version of the people’s bank in Suzhouwas enumerated and the new operation was introduced in detail. On this basis, thecompleted demand analysis was given and these depended on the original local clearingsystem and combination with new version of the bank clearing system. While the perfectsystem architecture was designed and it was based on a new data exchange platform.Secondly, in the essay, the development of system was divided into several modules,provided detail description in each module and the system was realized finally. At thistime, ORACLE database and C language were applied into this design, combined withefficient plug-in technology and the new development platform, the maturedouble-machine technology as an emergency guard and the new type of key equipmentwas purchased, to ensure the system will be operated safety, stability and efficient.
