Research And Implementation Of Internet Of Things In Rural Information

Internet of Things has been the third revolution in the area of information and technology after the Computer and Internet Communication. Internet of Things (shorted by IOT) was the important step on the road to perceive the world of human, which expanded the scope of information communication between people and all kinds of things. IOT was distinguished with Internet, which minimize the whole world. Full awareness with stable transmission and smart processing were the three characteristic of Internet of things.Application in rural information was always the hot topic of research. It is no doubt that IOT technology will improve the Rural Information working. According to the development of IOT technology and the situation of Rural Information, Our SDU-ISE Research Team probe into the new ways of Rural Information, this thesis aim at IOT application in rural information based on Wireless Sensor Network and Radio-frequency identification technology etc. The main contributions and innovations of this dissertation are as follows:1. Give a design of agricultural IOT development, which was based on Wireless Sensor Network. The WSN Node we designed was applied to agricultural fields; it can monitor multiple environmental factor data and transmit to the Gateway Device through Wireless Sensor Network.2. We design the stable smart agricultural IOT Gateway based on the Embedded Terminal Device in Project. The Gateway preprocess the agricultural information sensed from the agricultural greenhouses and then transmit it to the information Platform through the3G network, which will provide the reference for the late meticulous management and scientific policy decision.3. Implemented a novel upgrading system designed for smart agricultural IOT Gateway. Aiming at the condition and the difficulty of upgrade requirement, we designed a novel OTA upgrading system based on Short Message Mechanism.The thesis satisfied the requirement of agriculture IOT development, which was a success example of IOT application. This will be of great importance to improve agricultural and rural information level.
