Middle and high rate sensor networks (MH-WSN) is a new form of wireless sensor network (WSN), which provides multivariate information collection, high quality video monitoring, high precision positioning services. It has a large amount of data and serious data redundancy that makes energy constraint becomes a serious problem in middle and high rate sensor networks (MH-WSN), so design an energy efficient routing protocol to extend the life cycle of wireless sensor network is becoming the prime problem.This article mainly aims at the problem of low efficiency of energy utilization in the routing protocols that existing in middle and high rate sensor network, researches the energy-efficient and data fusion key technology based on cluster routing protocols, and intended to reduce network energy consumption, improve energy efficiency, prolong the network life cycle, and carried out the following research work:(1) In order to satisfy the middle and high rate wireless sensor network energy-efficient requirements, an efficient Cluster-based routing protocol is proposed. Since random election cluster head nodes of LEACH routing protocol had many deficiencies, this article mainly analyzes the optimal proportion of cluster head nodes, the uniform distribution of cluster head node, the distance between cluster head node, and then improves the selection of cluster head nodes combined with the location information and remaining energy, reduces energy consumption and prolong network life time. At the same time, combining with PEGASIS routing protocol, a chain topology structure within the clusters is generated to data transmission to save the energy.(2) For the serious data redundancy existed in the middle and high rate sensor network will cause energy consumption, an adaptive multiple-hop data fusion cluster routing protocol is proposed. Combining with cluster routing and secondary data fusion mechanism, it puts forward an adaptive weighted data fusion to reduce redundancy and error, and the cluster head nodes set up multiple-hop fusion routing by distance and hop, in order to reduce the network data transmission capacity, reduce energy consumption, prolong network life cycle, improve energy efficiency.In this article, researches the "middle and high rate sensor network key technology" project, in view of the serious energy limited problems existing in the network, mainly researches the cluster-based routing protocols of middle and high rate sensor network, a optimal energy-efficient clustering routing protocol and an adaptive multi-hope data fusion cluster routing protocol are put forward. The operation mechanism of the protocols are expounded. Finally through the simulation performance analyze each performance index, improve the energy efficiency of sensor nodes and prolong the life cycle of the network, and can be applied in middle and high rate sensor networks.
