With the continuous development of economy, rare wild animals have been endangered, so it is urgent to protect the wild animals. Is common at present the main way of wildlife monitoring lagging monitoring scope limited, data acquisition, data accuracy is not high, unable to get image information, etc. Wireless multimedia sensor network (WSN) is a new generation of sensor network, is one of the hottest technology research at home and abroad, is considered to be the second largest after the Internet network, can collect rich information in images and other media information and the wireless remote transmission, can achieve fine-grained for wildlife wireless remote real-time, accurate monitoring. Combined with unicorn3g technology rapid development in recent years, Android application development technology and Zigbee short distance wireless transmission technology, set up a set of can automatic operation, low cost, the wildlife monitoring system based on wireless multimedia sensor networks.The system hardware consists of:Zigbee infrared child node, the coordinator node and Android under a machine. Zigbee node part mainly includes the CC2530chips and infrared sensors; Coordinate hardware nodes and child nodes is roughly same, no infrared sensor; Android hypogyny machine including the main CPU,3g module, analog cameras, a GPS module. And coordinate system software design is divided into Zigbee infrared node and PC program design Android photos compression application development, interface of PC monitoring and development of three parts and lower machine communication function.Based on this hardware platform and software design, this system has realized automatic wildlife monitoring functions:wildlife through infrared child nodes can automatically trigger and send a message to the coordinator node, the coordinator node Android applications via the serial port control cameras take pictures and send the alarm to the specified phone number location, image compression by3g upload first place machine after decompression and display. PC also can send the remote picture instructions require lower place machine pictures.
