Emergency exercise is an important method to improve people’s safety awareness and evacuation technique, and enhance the decision making in a timely and scientific manner. Applying virtual reality technology in emergency exercise can improve the realness and interaction in the exercise. The emergency exercise tend to be forward and linear; therefore they are not able to provide more comprehensive virtual reality information to the users. This paper firstly introduces virtual reality technology and information tracking technology, and then analyzes the data organization and storage technology in a virtual environment, and it also studies the video-based and event-based recording methods. In the video-based recording method, this paper captures the emergency exercise simulation window, presses it into the video stream, and compresses the codes, so as to trace the information based on videos; in the event-based recording method, this paper applies the serialization and deserialization technology to deal with the event object, access and save the data via SQLite database, leverage the connection between lightweight database JSON and rendering engine to achieve the scene reconstruction and information tracing under three-dimensional state, and eventually complete the scene synchronization function. With these functions, users can review any information in different environments and analyze simulation data repetitively, which simplifies the user experience and ensure the consistency of the process.
