With the rapid development of virtual reality technology,VR products on the market more and more,but the natural field of VR interaction and brain vertigo and other issues have not been a good solution.The importance of applying eye tracking technology to virtual reality is obvious and can be complemented by the way of human-computer interaction in virtual reality areas and the user's immersion.But for now,in the virtual reality helmet successfully equipped with eye tracking technology practical products rarely,and the user experience is not good.Therefore,it is very important to study the eye tracking technology in the field of virtual reality.This paper aims to virtual reality helmet successfully equipped with an eye tracking system,the research work mainly from the following aspects.The hardware experiment platform of virtual reality eye tracking is set up,and the particularity of eye tracking under virtual reality platform is analyzed.The advantages and disadvantages of various methods of eye movement measurement and light reflection based detection algorithm are analyzed.This paper analyzes the problem of pupil distortion of the original eye movement image under the virtual reality platform,and adopts the method of dealing with the subregion.This paper presents a method to identify and locate the pupil region in the virtual reality platform,and realizes the acquisition of real-time eye movement data.Using the coordinate system mapping transformation to achieve the human eye line of sight estimation,and do the corresponding optimization and improvement.The virtual reality eye movement experiment system is designed and implemented in this paper.Complete all the functions of the system,build the system test platform,eye movement system to assess the line of sight.Finally,the functional test of the experimental system,mainly with eye movement for interactive control and real-time hot map.Finally,the design and implementation of the eye tracking system for virtual reality are summarized and the future work is made.
