The relate hardware which need software maintenance are Base Transceiver Station (BTS). Base Station Controller (BSC) and TransferCodec (TC). The main process of Software Replacement is checking the correction of Software-Upgrade-Package, identify the necessity of software repalcement in Base Station System, executing the software replacement in Base Station System, checking, update and correcting the data base of the Base Station System.By above processing, it could ensure the correction and completeness of Software Upgrade Package in order to prevent the system from crush with software file lost. At the same time. Check and remove the operation which is unnecessary during the software repalcement in order to keep the resource would not been occupied. At last. the maintenance work of Base Station System Data Base could keep the configuration of database correctly and the system works normally after software-upgrade. And the Backup feature will copy the all configuration of the current in Base Station System before software-upgrade in order to recover the system which is crushed after software-upgrade.The two functions can be used independently.The system now has been tested and used in the field of Base Station System upgrade by Shanghai Bell-Alcatel.
