Such as this we can upgrade the station more easily. When we upgrade thestation, only we need to do is increasing the baseband process unit. After survey, thereare a lot of GSM station still using the traditional mode which puts the RF processingand baseband processing on the radio remote unit.Against the problem which encountered in GSM station upgrade, this articlestudies the development status of the GSM network. The article elaborated the theory ofthe GSM network, on this basis article put forward that making the baseband processindependent. And then the article analyzed how to make the software of the basebandprocess. From the analysis the article put out the system application framework design.Then, the article given the design method and complete the exploitation of the resourceconfiguration management unit, power control unit, alarm management unit and testunit. At last, the article introduced the testing process of these units.From the test results, the station can finish the function. The new GSM station canprovide the normal business.
