Ltd. which the author works in is a company engages in wireless network design, engineering and maintaining of Shanghai municipal public projects such as subway system. The company is also a well-experienced enterprise obtaining strong technology. This article discusses the development of computer-aid design software according to the company’s real demand for the development and implementation of wireless communication network engineering projects.First, the article briefly summarizes the basic knowledge of wireless signal transmission and network design, and the development background of this software system. Then, it mainly discusses the demand analysis of this system, especially the wireless signal transmission and modeling of network performance analysis and model-based analysis computing and management function, computing analysis and optimization for wireless network link function, comprehensive simulate and analysis computing for the network overall business performance function, and some assistant client support functions’graph display and data transfer processing. On the basis of demand analysis, the article discusses the design scenario of this software system, especially discusses its model management, data management and software structure, etc. In the end, it discusses the system’s main modules programming and application cases and gives summarization to the development.This software has passed first step testing and been put into use in some important projects.
