With the development of wireless communication, the application area of wireless data transmission system is expanding unceasingly. The monitoring system based on RFC Radio Frequency) technology is one of the great applications of wireless data transmission in wireless communication and automatic area. According to the distributed characteristics of the sensor in the control field, a embedded monitoring and control system based on the Radio Frequency (RF) is presented and developed in the thesis.The design of each hardware module in the system is introduced in details in the thesis, followed by it's functional implementation. It mainly includes:(1) The selection of MPU and its functional implementation. The MPU selected in the system is S3C44B0 which is one kind of 32-bit ARM7 series. The thesis analyses and researches the main function of S3C44B0 and realizes the control of the RF module and data transmission.(2) The design of RF module and its realization. NRF401 which is produced by the Nodic company is chosen to fulfill the short distance wireless data transmission in ISM band which is used generally in the world.(3) The design of the wireless data transmission protocol and the error check. The thesis designs AVR singlechip principal and subordinate transmission protocol and data corrected way, uses the technology of CRC check and Hamming code check in order to guarantee the data transmission reliability and improve the system antijamming ability.C4) The realization of uClinux operation system's reduction and transplant. According to the request of the monitoring system, The thesis provides the main uClinux operation system's reduction, transplants the sound code to S3C44B0 and develops the driver and application program.A small network with the wireless modules which is developed by ourselves is introduced in this thesis including a main controller, a host station and some terminals in this WPAN. The communication mode between host station and terminals is point to multi-point wireless data transmission. The communication protocol between host station and terminals and how to avoid disturbance of them is introduced in details. Data are exchanged between host station, and the main controller through serial port. The main controller disposes of data by the application software. This wireless communication platform based on the embedded monitoring network can be widely used in intelligent control, wireless data collection and transmission, wireless identity acknowledgement, and security system and so on, and shows a splendid application in the future.
