Coal tower is used for storing raw material coal in coking production, coal as raw material is transported to the coal charging car through the electric hydraulic feeding device. Reliability of electric hydraulic coal feeding device control system determines the production efficiency of coking process.In recent years, with the popularity of PLC control technology, the domestic coking industry equipment automation has been improved. Electric hydraulic coal feeding device control system of coking engineering design in China still continue to use relay control system, this control system is poor reliability, high failure rate, difficult to maintain and serious constraint coking industry to promote the efficiency of production.Through the investigation and study, determine the topic of PLC automatic control system design for coal feeding device. This topic is a successful attempt, which is the application of PLC technology for the electric hydraulic coal feeding device. By testing charging car is whether located in the coal region and the system operation mode is whether automatic mode, etc, to determine the feeding device whether has opened safety interlock condition. In the case of interlocking conditions meet, when the coal charging car send feeding device open instructions, control feeding device open, when the coal charging car send feeding device closure instructions, control feeding device closure. When feeding device is closed, control system to detect the closed limit signal of each device whether has been feedback. at the same time, feeding device are analyzed with the analysis program, and whether have closed logical condition. In the logical condition is met, and all closed limit signals have been feedback, send allow instruction of driving to the coal charging car. While feeding device has not closed and the coal charging car accident left by coal area, the system automatically forced feeding device closure, to prevent the malignant accidents of leakage coal. Electric hydraulic coal feeding device control system based on PLC choose Siemens S7-300series PLC as the controller, STEP7as the programming software, WinCC as the upper computer configuration software. This system realizes the automatic control, computer control, operating information recording, fault alarm records and other functions. Since put into production in January2012, system is running stable, low failure rate, achieves a very good application effect.The successful application of electric hydraulic coal feeding device control system based on PLC has changed the status, that electric hydraulic coal tower feeding device simply rely on the relay control system, filled in the blank of electric hydraulic coal tower feeding device control field, improved the equipment automation level of the domestic coking industry.
