The loss rate of grain after harvest is high in China. The research of grain storage is significant to reducing the loss. From the history and present situation of grain storage research at home and aboard, low-temperature storage is an important field in grain storage technology. The temperature-control way in low-temperature storage includes mechanical ventilation, mechanical refrigeration and natural ventilation. Experimental data show that natural ventilation consumes less energy and achieve more economic benefits than the others in grain storage. The electric-window control system can be used for both natural ventilation and switch control of granary windows, with consideration of some unreasonable window design.This paper presents the experimental evidence that natural ventilation can be used for low-temperature grain storage. The temperature and humidity conditions which should be met in natural ventilation are proposed by referring to some industry and corporate standards. According to the above conditions, the demand of temperature and humidity measure in natural ventilation is obtained.According to the above demand, a kind of system with temperature and humidity measure, electric-window wired and remote control is designed. This paper introduces the design of bottom hardware and software in the system, and then presents the whole structure of hardware and process of work. Next, this paper introduces format of data frame, function and GUT three aspects of the PC software design. Finally, the communication in system and control effect is tested.At the end of this paper, the whole research is summed up and the prospect is mentioned.
