Based on the project of thriving agriculture technologically in Shandong province, this paper places the emphasis on R&D of the control system of the temperature and humidity environment with ARM processor and RTOS, which can reach the requirement of low-price and high-reliability.First, we devoted ourselves to the analysis of the status of the environment control of the temperature and humidity.Then the ARM control system is put forward according to the requirement. But the reliability of software will be lowered with the complexity increasing of system. Using the real time operation system can reduce the complexity of debug process and improve the maintenance and reliability.Second, the application status and future of embedded system and real time operation system are summarized. After the proper embedded ARM and RTOS are selected according to the requirement of the environment control of greenhouse, the software and hardware of embedded system is narrated in detail.We tested the stability of the control system on the spot and made some measures like electric shock protection, motor-surge protection and so on. Especially, focus on the characters of electric network in the countryside, we programmed the "trap" procedure, which can restore the control system's work and data automatically after power cut or equipment's reset. Moreover, we designed the "BootLoader" to update system program more convenient using serial port than JTAG.Finally, this embedded ARM system is applied to the automatic control system for tobacco leaf flue-curing. It is highly stable and reliable in practice. Simultaneously, a simple, practical, complete control algorithm and its control effects are introduced in this paper.
