Currently, various forms of benchmarking management were carried out in all walks of life. Aluminum industry is also driven by Nonferrous Industry Association to carry out the benchmarking management in recent years. The bench marking’s aim is to find the gap of management level between enterprises themselves and advanced enterprise, actively analyze the reasons, so as to achieve the purpose of improve and enhance management level.In this paper, the benchmarking management and the application of technology in all sectors conducted in-depth research and analysis, combined with the characteristics of electrolytic aluminum production process, constructed for the aluminum industry and the aluminum company’s internal different units on the benchmarking management and intelligence analysis system.1.An in-depth study of the traditional genetic algorithm was be done, with characteristics of aluminum production characteristics, for the first, use K-Means algorithm to group the data, then introduced variance calculation in probability and statistics to calculation the size of mutual influence between the aluminum parameters, in order to achieve the fitness calculation.2. Use improved genetic algorithm to achieve mining of the parameters which have influence to benchmarking parameters.3. Using of multi-dimensional analysis, SPC, and probability and statistics techniques, to show the benchmarking parameters,to analysis and track the discrepancy on the benchmarking.4. Finally, develop and imply a key production indicators benchmarking management, display and intelligent analysis system for industry and different companies, different sectors and sub-departments of the same enterprise to benchmark the production indicators, effectively enhance the level of intelligent management of electrolytic aluminum production.
