The Design And Implementation Of Product Evaluation Data Management System

In processor research and manufacture enterprises, viriaties of Benchmarks are used to evaluate processor products, according to clients’ request. The scores of benchmarks are relatively directviewing references to processors’ properties. There exist some problems when engineers conduct evaluating works:1Request and plan management is chaos and makes it difficult to follow up the progess.2Engineers conduct evaluation, collect and analyze data by hand, wasting a lot of time.3Low-efficiencied and error-prone EXCEL is used when calculating and analyzing datas, which means it’s hard to search and analyze them.The product evaluation data management system helps to solve these problems. It has5modules:request management, plan management, evaluation conduct, data processing and analysis, system environment. The request management module provides users with request related functions. The plan management module helps users manage product evaluating plans. The evaluation conduct module automaticly prepares senvironment, runs benchmarks, collects and dump datas, saving a lot time. The data processing and analysis module calculates the scores and let user view datas and make comparison bwtween them. The system environment module manages users, benchmarks and hardware devices in the system.The system uses the B/S architecture. Users interact with system functions through web browsers. An Apache HTTP server is the system’s server. PHP is used to develop the business logic. All datas are stored in a MySQL database. Linux Shell scripts make the evaluation conduct module. Javascript is adopted to improve user experience of web pages.Currently, the system has been put into practical use and improved engineers’ performace when managing request, conducting evaluation and analyzing datas.
