Study On Management Of Continual Education Operational Informatization System Construction Project In Colleges And Universities

In recent years, with the deep application of information technology in the field ofeducation and teaching, adult education and social training all develop toward the direction ofpopular, convenient, life-long and diversified style. Teaching and training based on the networkhas become a kind of inevitable development trend. Business information management systemhas gradually become an important part of continuing education information construction incolleges that almost all colleges try their best to build a business information system suitable fortheir situation that will bring them high efficiency and performance, which concerns theuniversities, government and the community. Because of the characters of the informationmanagement system, it’s easy to cause various problems, such as the poor quality, excessivecosts, and timeout. So it’s a crucial thing for all universities to enhance the implementationquality, lower the cost and shorten the working hours of the project. I have been more aware ofthe significance of the application of project management in the process of building a businessinformation system since I was involved in the project.Based on the theoretical framework of project management, this paper researches andexplores the application of the theory of project management in business information systemsconstruction projects in the colleges. First, this paper discusses the project management theory ofbusiness information systems, then explores the application of college business informationsystem construction project management from three aspects of the project scope, projectschedule and project risk based on the relevant theory. Next, the analysis of the problems in theproject management process. At last, combined with a case study of A college businessinformation management system construction project, this paper puts forward some suggestionsand measures in order to solve the problems in the project management process.The following conclusion is made. project management should be employed into theprocess of building a business information system for a college.. Only rely on scientificknowledge of project management theory, organize the project members to implement projectmanagement combined with the actual situation of the project, and keep track of projectprocesses and improve project scheme, the project will be successfully completed within thelimited resources and time.
