Design And Implementation Of Stream Media Player For Video Survillance System

Stream media player is an application, integrates computer technology, communication technology and digital multimedia technology, to deal with stream media files. As video surveillance system is widely used in security and other fields, higher requirements to the quality of monitor images and real-time display are proposed. When video surveillance system working in harsh environments, the monitor images always have poor quality. When the traditional stream media player is used in video surveillance system, there are three problems. The first one is there is no interaction mechanism between stream media player and client. The second one is the delay is too long. The third one is there is no measures to the poor quality monitor images.A stream media player is designed for video surveillance system. This player is developed as an ActiveX control. Using dispatch map, event map and callback function, an interaction mechanism between streaming media player and client is designed. This player is based on pipeline architecture and supports RTP and TS multimedia transmission protocols and uses a dejitter buffer based on a circular linked list. The decode module uses FFmpeg interfaces to decode and the display module uses directX interfaces to display video and audio.In addition, this thesis studies low-light monitor image noise reduction algorithms. Then an image post-process module is designed, this module can not only reduce noise of low-light images, but also can improve resolution and permeability of monitor images. Experimental results show that the time complexity of these image post-process algorithms is low, and the objective and subjective quality of mominor images can be obviously improved.
