Research And Development Of Video Surveillance System Based On Colliery Security

With the development of internet and computer technology, the video surveillance has stepped into totally digital era, and has widely used in every trade. Especially with the successive emergence of great colliery accident in recent years, it is more urgent to introduce video surveillance in the security system. So it will be an inevitable trend that the video surveillance system is applied to the security system in production of the colliery. The thesis introduces development, current situation of the video surveillance at first. According with the development of technology and demand for practical application, the video surveillance system is designed. The thesis researches the video compressed technology and various kinds of video code standards at present, by comparing with various kinds of video code standard, it proposes to using MPEG-4 standard to carry on the code of video in this system, and finishes the compression of the video data, storage. The relative experimental data indicates that the application of the compressed scheme, to a great extent reduces video data ,and can better settle storage of video data and the transmission of video. Various kinds of network communication ways are mainly researched in the thesis. By comparison, the scheme to apply IP multicast to the video transmission is proposed. The application solves the network communication problem to video surveillance at a number of terminals. The software applies popular C/S framework, advanced MPEG-4 standard and stream media technology. The network communication is realized with IP multicast. Realization of software uses the method that VC++ is combined with Directshow. Finally, the software is tested in LAN, the result indicates that picture quality and real-time effect are better.
