Industrial CCD camera has been vigorously popularized and development in theindustrial inspection, medical diagnostics and other fields with its high resolution, highsensitivity.Currently it also had been used in the X-ray inspection system builded by ourlaboratory.This paper studies X-ray imaging system composed of industrial digital cameraimage processing technology,and combine the image processing technology with databasemanagement technology,then design the image processing and data management system basedon industrial CCD camera,leading to simplifies the detection process and improve thedetection efficiency,and has important practical value and realistic significance in the field ofX-ray industrial detection.In the image processing part.Firstly the paper analysis and research the image noisereduction algorithm,which collected by the X-ray inspection system that composed CCDindustrial camera and image acquisition card.The paper studied X-ray image noise reductionalgorithm from three aspects,namely image processing method on average,image smoothingfilter method and adaptive wiener filtering method based on wavelet transform,and then makea comparison among these methods.Secondly the paper researched image segmentationalgorithm after noise reduction,and then separately introduced threshold segmentation methodand region growing method, and ultimately propose an improved method based on thresholdsegmentation method and regional growth method. Finally according to the classification,features and cause of the X-ray image defects, it measured the geometric characteristics of theimage defect contour and determine the size of the image defects, defect type and theadequacy of the product by the measurement results.In the database management system part. First the paper introduces the theoreticalknowledge of database management system and database access technology based on VC.And then analysis and research how to design a system that combine X-ray image processing and image management based on CCD industry camera.Secondly, the paper design andrealize function of each module of image database management system,and to design theoverall framework of the system and its main interface.Lastly the paper introduce overallblock diagram of the real-time X-ray imaging system which consists of high resolutionindustrial CCD camera and image intensifier. And cited the specific application in automotivealuminum wheel inspection and grain defect detection and other areas.
