Improve the measurement accuracy has been the goal of measuring system. Whenthe high precision image measuring system is in the pursuit of this goal, many problemshave emerged. The main problem is how to eliminate the noise, uneven lighting, as wellas the image aberrance and distortion caused by the system hardware and environmentalfactors. The effective way to resolve these issues is to do the image preprocessing, noisesuppression and image distortion correction and the edge of precise positioning.This paper gives a comprehensive introduce of the origin of the imagemeasurement and the development level at home and abroad, as well as the foregroundthat image measurement is used in the field of medical diagnosis, motion analysis,robotics and unmanned exploration of the universe. Based on the detailed analysis ofthe factors which affect the precision of the image measurement, this paper starts withalgorithms, gives an embedded investigation and analysis for the pivotal technology ofimage preprocessing and high precision image metrical systems which the measurementrefers to. The main contents are as follows:The noise sources, noise types and the existing method of image noise restrainingare analyzed particularly, and a multiple method to restrain the noise is also given; Animproving rapid watershed image segmentation method is proposed, which effectivelysolves the issue of segmenting overly in the original algorithm, and reduces thecomputing complexity in many existing improving method at the same time. Based onthe analysis of the type of image distortion, we summarize the advanced non-lineardistortion correction methods, and give a constructive idea; The source of the edgeposition error is investigated and analyzed, Research and analysis of the marginalsource of positioning errors and image measurement system on the error of imagemeasurement system measurement precision and reduce or eliminate the impact oferrors in order to make effective way to introduce and analysis.
