Intelligent sensor is a comprehensive technology that involving multiple disciplines, it isa development high-tech technology in today’s society. It is widely used in military, aerospace,scientific research, industry, agriculture, transportation and medical department, and it has avery broad application prospect. With the concept of intelligent sensor is presented, peoplehave more and more requirement for sensor. Especially, in the sensor demand first, thetemperature sensor is required lots of. High precision, intelligence will be the developmentdirection of the temperature sensor. According to the intelligent theory, this paper designed anintelligent temperature sensor, which can ensure the temperature sensor’s precision afterworking for a long time, solved the problem that in some special circumstances, thetemperature sensor was used in place after installation cannot be removed for calibration.Firstly, this paper introduces the topic of research background and the research of theintelligent temperature sensor, and the nonlinear calibration technology and the method ofself-calibration online. The nonlinear correction is composed by look-up table method、curvefitting and function chain neural network method, in this paper, is adopted least square fittingmethod and Newton iteration method of curve fitting. Online calibration technology isactualized by the soft measurement technology on the degradation mechanism model, usingthe least squares to establish model parameters.Next, we research the hardware design、the software design and the control algorithm ofintelligent temperature sensor system. Through FPGA and MCU technology, nonlinearcalibration and online calibration technology were implemented. Through the RS-422serialinterface output, the collected temperature dates were transmitted.Finally, through the debugging, we found some problems and gave the solutionmeasures.The experimental results show that, the intelligent temperature sensor canaccurately measure the temperature in the long-term temperature environment, to improve theaccuracy of measurement, and verified the rationality and the correctness of the design.
