In recent years, the textile CAD technology develops rapidly on a global scale, which promotes the development of the textile industry. But the existing textile CAD technology is not mature in simulation of textile in3D scene. This article focuses on the current situation to and proposes a design scheme and implementation for OpenGL-based3D scene simulation system of textile. The system which can naturally display textile, is realized by using the OpenGL technology and Delphi development platform,Work to be done:1. Constructing the3D scene by the vertex information from OBJ, STL,3DS files. The program will simplify the scene meshes to refine the scene. The NURBS modeling technology is introduced to simulate the textile surface morphology.2. Rendering the3D scene. Establishing the illumination model, setting material of models, generating shadows is a valid way to increase the sense of reality. Enrich the details of3D scene by using the Mip-map anti-aliasing technology in the texture mapping to.3. With the aid of Delphi, the3D scene can be observed fully and on dynamical display. With OpenGL picking mechanism, the system allows users to pick up some models and faces in the scene, and change the texture.The experimental results show that the simulation system can naturally display the effect of textile. The designers can use it as a auxiliary tool. The enterprise can use it as a means of marketing. The customs can use it as a way to select satisfied products. The system will promote the good communication between the customs, designers and enterprise.
