The Detect Of Moving Target On Land Or On Sea Based On Radar

This subject aims at the proximity warning radar, mainly responsible for detecting andtracking moving target in border areas on land,on sea or in air. It’s a critical part of nationalhomeland defense system. And the warning radar should early detect and make action withinthe scope of the moving target and measure the approximate position, at last closely monitorrole within the scope of the target activities.Which ensure that we may detect the enemybefore approaching the protection zone.With the development of IC technology, therequirement of digital signal processing speed and processing accuracy, which leading to thegradual transfer of signal procesing from analog domain to digital domain, therefore, radardigital signal processing algorithm research and implementation become a hot field.The design of radar signal processor is an important part of the warning radar system, itsworking performance will seriously affect its working stability and detection ability. Thisarticle puts forward the algorithms and implementation method,then get the radar echo signalsimulation of MATLAB based on the radar signal processing.At last, the radar realized inFPGA,which is development in QuartusⅡ9.1by VHDL language and Altera IP core basedon with the theoretical and the simulation results of MATLAB.And the hardware platform isEP3SE110F1152which belongs to Altera Stratix Ⅲ series. This article mainly include beltextraction filtering multiple structure in FPGA, digital down convertersion, pulsecompression, the switching of data in fast time domain and slow time domain,the research andthe realize in FPGA of the moving target indication (MTI) and moving target detection(MTD), constant false alarm processing module, packaged modules and serialcommunication, the research and the realize in FPGA of test signal.Through compare the results of MATLAB and FPGA simulation, we continuouslyimprove this subject,whitch make the design fully complys with the requirements.
