In the21th century, with the continuous improvement of the people’s life, cardiovascular disease has become main factor that threats the health of thepeople, on account of the acceleration of the aging population, a rapid pace oflife and the change of eating habits. The traditional dynamic ECG equipment isplaying an important role in the prevention and treatment of the heart disease. Therefore, owing to disadvantages of the equipment such as the limitation of thewire cable, huge volume and high power consumption, it can not meet the needsof the users. With the development of the wireless sensor network (WSN)technology, the dynamic ECG equipment has a good prospect. In this paper, withthe combination of the traditional ECG system and the latest wirelesscommunication technology, a new kind of convenient ECG equipment that issmall, light, low-cost and of good quality is designed. This system depends on the core controller STC12C5A60S2to realize thefunction of the wireless transceiving based on the SZ05module under the Zigbeeprotocol. It consists of two parts: the data terminal node and data central node. The former is to complete the signal pick-up, modulation, acquisition, access andtransmission; the latter is to realize the data acceptance, disposal and upload. Inview of the possible factors of power-down and network failure, the terminalnode also designs the data access module to ensure the data integrity. A shortmessaging service alarm system based on the Global System of Mobilecommunication (GSM) network is designd for the patient can not give an alarmtimely when suffering diseases. For the convenience of the ECG data disposal, display and recognition, the software of a Human Machine Interface isdesigned using VC++.
