DataWarehouse System Build On The Cost Control Of The Tunnel Construction Project

With the progress of the society and the rapid development of theinformation technology, informatization level of the enterprise has beenimproved, the application of the management information system for enterprisehas brought great convenience in the daily management. Information level of thetunnel construction enterprise has also improved, but during the tunnelconstruction process, all the departments are temporary organization, and usedifferent management information system, it is difficult for the intergratiion ofthe data, data transmission between different departments is not fluent, whichmakes managers not check data on the whole, not find the problems in timeduring the construction process, and then they cannot make correspondingcounter measures.The emergence of the data warehouse technology provides a new idea forintegration data from different management information systems in differentdepartments. In this paper, integration characteristics of the data warehousetechnology and the characteristics of the tunnel construction project are used toanalysis and design the data warehouse system on the cost control of the tunnelproject.Firstly this paper analyzes characteristics of the tunnel construction project,the content of the cost structure and the present situation of the cost control andthe function of data warehouse in the cost control of the tunnel project, and thenthe whole construction process of the data warehouse system is given on the costcontrol of the tunnel project.Moreover, the DWER conceptual model, the Star logical model and the physical model of the data warehouse system on the cost control of the tunnelproject are analyzed and designed based on the dimensional modeling. And then,the ETL method of the data warehouse is given, for the structured data which isstored in database, incremental data extraction method on the theme attributescontrast of data warehouse is given in this paper, and massive data importing andconverting method based on the Sqlbulkcopy class is given as importing datafrom excel to database, through these two methods, the overal efficiency of thedata extracting and importing is improved.Finally, data warehouse system of the tunnel construction project isconstructed in the above analysis and design premise, and to take an example ofthe tunnel construction project in the tianshan constructing by china railway18bureau group tunnel engineering co., Ltd, empirical research is going on.
