Gasoline is an important transportation fuel. With the development ofnational economy and the rapid development of automobile industry, our countrycar retain the quantity increases rapidly, gasoline yield increases. On the otherhand, vehicle emissions caused by air pollution is increasingly serious, and has adirect threat to human health, caused the government and society’s universalattention, thus solving the problem of environmental pollution has become thevehicle of our country current a main task. The development of the nationaleconomy and the enhancement of environmental awareness to our country oilquality and yield have put forward higher requirements.This topic has been to improve the quality of gasoline as a starting point forgasoline quality testing, the use of sensor technology, electronic technology,control theory techniques, developed a gasoline quality testing system. Thesystem is mainly used in automotive systems, detection of the methanol contentof gasoline to automobile engine systems. To improve engine performance,extend the service life of the car and to achieve energy saving purposes.In this paper, design a car online testing system of the methanol content ingasoline, methanol content in the detection gasoline solution, the detection probeby means of changes in gasoline solution dielectric constant to measure thecapacitive sensor, the sensor stability and sensitivity distributionuniform to makeit work at a2MHz detect methanol concentration range of0%-100%less than2%, resolution, response time less than1s, and application of ANSYS softwaredetected within the sensor field analysis, analysis of the distribution of staticelectricity inside the detection sensitivity ofsituation. Through the sensor real-time detection of gasoline concentration changes to the MSP430microcontrollerfor control and processing core, the acquisition value of the concentration and the working environment temperature processing, through the LCD. The instrumentis portable, easy-to-car, and good stability.
