The concept of Ubiquitous Network not only expanded the category of terminals, the orientationof function and application scenarios of terminals, but also enlarged the terminals’ deploymentrange. These terminals will networking together through many kinds of heterogeneouscommunication network, including mobile communication network, fixed communication network,broadcasting television network, Internet and so on, and interconnect in different kinds oforganization form. To provide the user ubiquitous network accessing ability and informationservices, the control mechanism of terminals in synergy in the heterogeneous network environmentis researched in this thesis, breaking through the system restriction of the existing terminals’capacity and the constrained network resources.According to the application context that an user can be provided information services withmultiple terminals in synergy in the ubiquitous network environment, the definition and frameworkof terminal aggregation is put forward firstly in this thesis. With the emphasis on research on theenvironmental context awareness technology, the organization mechanism of terminal aggregationbased on the environmental context is put forward in this thesis. The terminal aggregation process isrealized by the information interaction of terminals’ capability. Then, the technology of cooperativecommunicatious within multiple terminals, the collaborative control and transmission technologyon heterogeneous network service platform and the other key technologies are studied in this thesis.The control mechanism of business multistream parallel transmission is designed on the basis of theinter-communication architecture of terminal aggregation, supporting multiple terminals in synergy.Based on the study of the above, the control architecture of Mesh networking platform whichsupport terminal aggregation is put forward finally, and an experimental platform of videotransmission business in the emergency relief scene is designed in this thesis. Based on the Sockettechnology, the application of video transmission business is developed on the embedded ARMplatform. The environmental context awareness in terminal aggregation process and the real videobusiness of terminal in synergy in the heterogeneous network environment is realized by usingmultiple Mesh nodes for the experimental platform architecture of self-organizing, verifying thefeasibility of this solution and the key technologies.
