It is difficult to reduce the recoil of the artillery and keep the stability of the cannon at the same time. The theoretical research of the Force Optimized Recoil Control (FORC) and the related experiments indicate that this problem can be solved. The existing buffering is done by the manual operation. It cannot satisfy firing demands for accuracy,real-timing and stability of the buffering. In this work,an intelligent FORC control system is designed based on a certain endogenous FORC buffering. This thesis analyzes some operating features and parameters of the buffering and determines a scheme which uses the STM32as the kernel, the CAN bus to communicate, the upper computer to display&store datas and give an alarm.Based on the scheme, following works have been done.First.An intelligent control box (included hardware and software) which communicate with the upper computer through the CAN-bus have been designed. The hardware design includes the master control module, the signal conditioning circuits module, the CAN bus module, the SD card module and the outputing signal of controlling a motorized valve, etc.Second, the software of the system have been designed. The software design includes the master control program, digital to analog convert program, analog to digital convert program,CAN-bus program, control strategy program, storing data program, and VC program, etc.Third, the anti-interference have been designed and analysed so that the system can work properly on the environment of gun launching. In order to verify the feasibility of the FORC intelligent control system, the simulating experiments are performed. The experiment results suggest that the mechanism of the intelligent system is feasible. The research results of this paper have certain reference significance for intelligent control of the FORC buffering.
