Along with the development of modern science technology and the increasing of the environmental awareness, the use of electric forklift is more and more common. The purpose of electric forklift is handing and the short move work. Due to its good mobility and applicability, electric forklift has become an indispensable freight model in ports, station and warehouse. In this context, this paper is intended to design the control walking motor drive system.Through the electric forklift motor drive system and control requirements of the analysis, the paper gives a low voltage high current PMSM drive scheme. The master control chip is high performance DSP chip TMS320F2812. The system uses vector control algorithm and SVPWM switching mechanism, adopting current and speed double closed-loop PI control. Inverter outputs drive motor operation of the three-phase AC signal.Motor drive system is divided into three parts, control circuit, drive circuit, inverter circuit, to design. Control circuit using DSP as core, processes forklift walking signal and PC communication function. Drive circuit outputs PWM signal driving inverter work, including speed current acquisition circuit, voltage protection circuit, temperature monitoring circuit, MOSFET drive circuit, etc. Inverter is primarily made by24high-power MOSFET, outputting large current to control motor running.Over a large number of trials testing, the results show that each part functions of motor drive system can be realized. Installing it in electric forklift to drive the PMSM, the forklift basic walking function is achieved successfully. Drive system has the advantages of safe and reliable, outstanding performance, strong practicability.
