With the advent of high-speed information age, the demand of sharing information anytime and anywhere is soaring. Although3G communication technology has increasingly become a popular access way, some factors like expensive business prices, limited transmission rate and inflexible infrastructures, etc., have posed challenge to the free, fast sharing among people. Mobile Ad-Hoc Network, Ad-Hoc, as a new research hot spot in communication field, effectively alleviate the main problems in wireless networks.This article proposes and implements a solution for real time wireless communication system, which based on an embedded operation system with Linux2.6.38kernel, and use S3C6410embedded processor of ARMv6Architecture as software and hardware platform. On the issue of wireless link, we opt IEEE802.11protocol, which performs well on its compatibility, thus can set up Ad-Hoc network among different systems rapidly and realize high speed information transmission.Firstly, theories related to the construction of Ad-hoc network was introduced, and a feasibility analysis focusing on the characteristics of embedded ARM developing platform was made. Then the design and implement on network hardware is presented, attaching importance to device selection, schematic diagram design, PCB layout&wiring, chip welding and debugging, later. After that, we install Linux operating system on the PCB board and conduct the construction and debugging of network, including:modification of Linux kernel, transplantation of wireless network card drivers, and connectivity tests among multiple platforms. Finally, in order to have users quickly master the usage of the system, a graphical interface program based on Qt-Creator was designed.The system is neat in its design, friendly in interface and stable in use, and can be easily applied to fast construction of Ad-Hoc network and information delivery in LANs.
