The food supplies is the foundation of national economy, the food storage problem has always been gained increasing attention by the grain enterprises and managers. In order to prevent grain mildew and insect pest problem, the granary temperature and humidity monitoring and control has important practical significance. With the development of sensor technology and the development of computer technology, the granary management staff monitored the relevant physical parameters of the granary through a sensor and electronic equipment and control relevant physical parameters according to the monitoring of the granary of the relevant physical parameters to guarantee the storage quality of the grain. With the wireless sensor network technology arising, the method of artificial monitoring for granary temperature and humidity is replaced to the intelligent and efficient new monitoring system.The granary monitoring technology and wireless data transmission system and technology are analyzed firstly in the paper. The monitoring technology for grain storage temperature and humidity parameters was researched and a wireless communication in the grain depot temperature and humidity control system is designed. The design uses the wireless sensor network technology and monitors the granary temperature and humidity through setting the granary temperature and humidity data collectors in the test points and reports the acquisition of data to the data concentrator through the wireless data transmission technology. The data concentrator submitted to the PC through the RS485interface. In the design of the hardware, the digital temperature and humidity sensor SHT11is used to realize the granary temperature humidity data acquisition and low power MSP430FE427MCU is used to control and the wireless data transceiver module CC2420is used to realize wireless communication and the RS485interface is used to communicate between MCU and PC. When the temperature and humidity of granary is not suitable for grain storage conditions, the host computer will send control commands to the crew and the crew drives ventilation equipment to work. The paper introduces in detail the system to the part of hardware circuit and specific design. The software of the grain temperature and humidity control system is designed and developed. The MCU control procedures, temperature and humidity acquisition program, wireless data transmission program and host computer communication program are introduced in detail. The system function and technical index are tested and evaluated under laboratory conditions. The system design can effectively treat the granary temperature and humidity monitoring and control through this research. The application of the wireless sensor network technology makes the system design has a certain degree of scalability, has a good application prospect.
