This article researched and designed a shooting judgment method for Tank Platoon Training based on image analysis. Given an alternative to the existing laser system. It makes the simulation training more realistic, and improves shooting accuracy.The system is composed of an image acquisition model,data process model and wireless communication module. A camera was installed on the tank, using which to obtain images; On the top of target tank installed a strobe light which has different blinking frequency to identify the number and location of the target tank. This paper mainly contains:1. Intruduced the working principle, the composition and function of each subsystem of Tank Platoon Training system based on image analysis. Analysed the selection and installation of camera in the image acquisition subsystem, and the design and installation of the infrared strobe light in the strobe light subsystem.2. Detected the position of strobe light based on image differencing. According to the characteristics of the target image, we locate the position of light through image normalization, image differencing, threshold segmentation, contour tracking and filling and so on.3. Identified the target ID based on waveform matching. Firstly, designed the coding of tank; then, designed the template according to the coding; lastly, pasteurized distance was used to calculate the similarity between the waveform to be matched and the template waveform, selected the appropriate similarity thredshold based on the experiment, eventually the ID of tank can be identified.4. Calculated the hit position based on the Kalman filtering and image register.Taking use of the Kalman filtering to track the location and movement, for calculating the hit location and damage after the artillery was arrived at the target tank. Computed the placement regions of the illusion artillery and obtained the hit position of the target tank based on image registration.
