Wireless Sensor Networks is a self-organizing network, which composed of cheap isomorphic or heterogeneous sensor nodes. These nodes, form a network by routing algorithm, are responsible for data acquisition and processing, and send the data to the observer eventually. Wireless sensor networks are widely used in environmental monitoring, smart home, military reconnaissance, and so on.This paper summarized current wireless sensor network coverage firstly, and discussed the full coverage of WSN. At present, most researches on Wireless Sensor Networks model are generally divided into two types:round and hexagonal. Through the analysis of the particle swarm algorithm, this paper improves the particle swarm algorithm based on the heterogeneous networks and uses Matlab7.0tool to simulate and analyze the data. The result shows that, compared with the PSO algorithm, the DPSO algorithm converges faster than the PSO algorithm, and the coverage rate has increased. In respect of router protocol, this paper focuses on the Flooding and the Leach protocol, simulates the Flooding protocol through OMNeT4.0, and improves Leach protocol and then simulates it, this paper gives the node death rate comparison chart by using Gnuplot. The simulation result shows that the survival rates of nodes was improved under the improved algorithm. Taking the mobile node into account, this paper did a deep analysis on AODV, and compared the performance of the medium load with one of lightweight load by NS2.This paper designed a small wireless sensor network system by using CC2530chip and DS18B20sensor based on the above theoretical studies. Finally, this paper designed a monitoring and control interface by using VC6.0and also did some relevant tests. The experiment shows that the system can work well.
