With the development and growth of the petrochemical industry, chemical devices are gradually moving to large-scale direction, which proposed new requirements for equipment lifting program design. The traditional artificial methods to formulate lifting program is not only time-consuming, but also producing large errors with the actual construction. Therefore, the optimization of the chemical devices lifting process is necessary.Virtual reality technology is a new kind of technology, which can realize virtual production, manufacturing, analysis process by computer hardware. Using this technology can achieve the purpose of shortening construction period and reducing project costs. This paper relates to a new way of equipment assembly by a pressure vessel manufacturing company:Modular assembly. Based on this assembly method and the actual lifting process of the company, this paper utilizes virtual reality simulation software EON Studio to achieve three-dimensional dynamic simulation. By operating the secondary development of the EON software internal functions, this paper also realizes the diversity of the simulation system such as real-time information display, wire rope model and so on. Eventually, the simulation is similar to the actual lifting process working conditions.This paper utilizes virtual prototyping software ADAMS to realize the lifting process dynamics simulation for the single module lifting process. With some of the details of the model being simplified and alternative, this paper utilizes automatically solving function of ADAMS to get force curves of key points in the model. By comparison between the results of different sets of data generated by different module weights, the paper also verified the accuracy of the simulation model.Through the analysis of existing lifting program, this paper establishes a mathematical model, determines the objective function and constraints, utilizes random optimization algorithm to solve the mathematical model, and finally gets a optimization program to shorten the duration. This simulation can truly restore the assembly process of the chemical devices, which will improve the level of on-site assembly, enhance the true feelings of the construction workers on the construction program and improve logistics management and other positive roles.
