The distributed optical fiber sensing system, with optical fiber as sensing medium, can get the temperature/strain information along entire optical fiber. Among numerous systems, the BOTDA system aroused the attention at home and abroad for the advantage of long distance and high-precision. In this thesis, in order to improve working efficiency and reach the commercial applications target, the theoretical and technical issues of integrated control and data processing in BOTDA system is researched which is based on the experiment BOTDA system.Through deeply study of theory and carefully analysis of working principle of BOTDA system, a method to implement integrated control and data processing system in BOTDA is proposed. The system is combined of acquisition card and software modules with computer as hardware platform and Lab VIEW as software platform. The module control program in BOTDA system is designed and control process is implemented through the research in critical modules such as laser, frequency synthesizer and data acquisition card interface. Each module can work orderly in accordance with the principle of distributed measurement through integration of the module control program, friendly software interface and unified management of control parameters. Superposition average, spectrum fitting and peak searching algorithm is realized through the analysis of Brillouin signal characteristics. The data storage and management is also realized by using SQL Server database. Finally, the reliability analysis and functional verification of the designed software is implemented.The results show that the software runs stably. The automatic control and the data processing functions are realized completely. It also shows that the BOTDA automatic control and data processing system based on the LabVIEW development platform are feasible.
