| As more and more display devices are used in home appliances, mobile communications,automotive, instrumentation and industrial equipment in recent years, so traditional manualtesting method has been unable to meet the production requirements of automation and highappearance quality, especially the functional testing of display parts that depends on theoperator’s visual inspection is difficult to guarantee that defective products will not escape thequality control of the production line. Therefore, the people began to consider combiningproperties such as rapidness, reliability, and repeatability of computer with high degree ofvision intelligence and abstraction of human being to generate a new detection technology-machine vision technology. At first this article is researching image processing and analysisalgorithms related to machine inspection of LCD; then it setup a system for LCD machineinspection and implement system experiments based on theoretical research, and got the testsolution and algorithms for LCD machine based on the research and experiment. Finally thesystem will be imported into the trial of actual production line to collect and to discover theproblems which need to be improved, which lay the foundation for the next step for deployingthe application of LCD machine inspection to replace manual operation. |
