Recent years, the Pearl River Basin was under continuous drought, actual water flow inupstream has been decreasing, and downstream channel has accelerating changed, salt waterintrusion of Pearl River Estuary often occurs, which have a bad effect of drinking water safetyfor the Macao, Zhuhai residents. scientifically and reasonably regulating the upstream keyreservoirs of Pearl River, increasing the streamflow at at estuary in dry season, is the solutionan important ways of water crisis in Pearl River Delta during the dry season. In order topractically improve the forecast accuracy and warning ability of integrated water regulation inPearl River, meet water regulation scientific decision and fine Management requirements,gradually realize water and electric regulation win-win, further strengthen the UnifiedManagement for water resource in Basin, improve the ability of disaster prevention,reductionand emergency, the PRWRC proposed to construct the key reservoir unified regulationmanagement information system of Pearl River.This paper regards the key reservoir unified regulation management requirements ofPRWRC as the starting point, on the base of understanding the method and model ofhydrological forecasting, saline water forecasting and reservoir cooperation regulation, thekey reservoir unified regulation management information system of Pearl River was designed.By analysising the water streamflow, saline water forecasting, constructing the model of keyreservoir cooperation optimal regulation, aiding design of water regulation scheme, realizinghydrological forecasting, saline water forecasting, dynamic simulation scheduling scheme,real-time monitoring and comprehensive analysis, regulation decision consultation, whichprovides a clear, vivid, dynamic, scientific decision environment, provides a stable, reliablesystem platform for experts to make fast and accurate decision.This paper closely combined the business processes of Pearl River Basin key reservoirregulation in dry season, the key reservoir unified regulation management information systemof Pearl River was comprehensive analysised and designed, the system has strong practicality,and its basic structure and function for the other Basin reservoir regulation is also applicable.In the future, the forecasting accuracy, system aided decision function and system applicationlevel will be further improved according to the problem and long-term demand ofmanagement departments in practical application.
