With the continuous development of e-finance and information technology, self-service hasgradually become an important channel for banking services to customers. ATM bankingservices window, carrying business information, can provide customers with efficient andconvenient services.ATM as an important channels of banking services, the help of modernmeans of science and technology, providing customers a new way of customer service.Compared to traditional face-to-face business service touch-type, ATM has obvious advantages:ATM using human-computer interaction, to avoid the old problem due to the attitude of service,quality of service to cause customer dissatisfaction; ATM to save manpower, reduce operatingcosts the advantages will become apparent; ATM24hours a day, to extend the bank’s servicetime, more convenient service to customers, good price outlets. But with the banks to increasethe deployment of ATM equipment data the ATMC side program by the manufacturer inaccordance with the bank’s ATM terminal interface specification for the development andadaptation, but more bank ATM brand, vendor ATM operating system and development theplatform is different, resulting in a different part of the transaction process in the differentbrands of ATM, the bigger problem is that too many versions of the software also lead toincreased operation and maintenance costs of the ATM. Banks in urgent need of a set of unifiedATM applications run on all manufacturers, various types of ATM equipment. the ATMCunified platform to the Windows operating system as a strategic platform, follow the WOSA/XFS (financial self-service device connectivity) standard, which means that the ATMCapplications in R&D at the beginning imported standardization, standardized mechanism tosupport the CEN/XFS standard interface ATMC application software vendor-independenthardware, nothing to do with the hardware platform, an ATMC unified platform for applicationsrunning on the major support of the CEN/XFS standard ATM equipment.
