With the development of aviation airborne control realm technology,The aviationairborne software has more requirements for robustness, adaptability and reliability onits performance, which makes the software development become increasinglylarge-scale and complex. How to manage the software development process and controlthe quality of airborne software becomes a hotspot that desiderates to be resolved.Software measurement is the most effective quantitative analysis technique for budgetplan, cost estimate, quality ensure test, software error detecting, case personneloptimization and software performance maximize. Therefore, it’s sure to realize theefficiency of software develop process, and meantime improve the quality of softwareproducts by introducing software measurement into the software develop process.Through the measurement of software process, it can make the process be standardizedand visualization. Through anglicizing measurement data, it can find the problems moreaccurate during the software develop process and measure the efficiency of theprocedure more effective. Through tracking measurement information, it can monitorthe process’s status. It can provide decision support for process manager and meantimereduce the risk during the whole process.Based on analyzing the existed references and studying on the CMMI and softwaremeasurement theories and techniques, the paper, according to the characteristics ofaviation airborne software, analyzes separately on each process metric and itsrequirement in detail and then proposes a new software process measurement controlmodel. The model, in a tree-like hierarchy structure, has specific measurement controlfor each layer. First of all, it confirms the criterion based on the basic measurementcategory of CMMI, provides clear measurement objective for each level, then doesanalysis according to the airborne software application background, derives the metrics,solve the problems of the goal-achieve process, clearly exports the indicator andconstructs the mapping relationships between the measurement data items andobjectives. Second, it generates a one-to-one correspondence analysis table between theindicator and the data collecting and decision analysis process, which ensures the one-to-one relationship between the measurement goals and the results. Finally, itanalyzes the metrics results, finds out the issue during the whole process and proposesthe advice on improvement.The value and objective of this paper are that, based on establishing the schemeand optimizing the development process at all level, provides an integrated project onsoftware metrics control. It is effective to aid the software development organization toarrange the management and development control more reasonably. And it helps tocontrol the middle result and the quality of the end product in time, which can save thedevelopment and maintain cost and reduce the potential issues or risks.
