Image processing technology has been widely applied in many fields, such asmedical treatment, automatic production, and vision of robot. For the architecture field,the image processing is also very important. The entire image processing process is avery complicated process including image reading, image displaying, image filtering,edge detection, pattern recognition, and image writing. In architecture field, mostimages need to be processed in the angle of architecture. Therefore, the imageprocessing software for the architecture should not only include general technology inimage processing, but also construction techniques.The main task of this thesis is to develop the image processing platform forarchitecture, and the research work has been carried out as following:1. Set the main goal of the software design by analyzing and comparing domesticprocessing software and general processing software,.2. Analysis the design of this architectural software and overall systemrequirements. The architecture of the software is the hybrid architecture whichcombines core layered architecture, domain specific system structure andobject-oriented architecture. During system requirements analysis, data interface, userfunctions and operating environment requirements has been built.3. According to image reading and displaying the data interface was designed toread bmp files and jpg files. In the overall design of the software, some work has beencarried out such as division of function of the system software, platform interfacedesign and menu design in all levels.4. By designing the general image processing functions and advanced features, thefour functional modules, which includes dot operator, geometric transformation, imageenhancement and filter mirror has been built. More specific sub-functions wereencapsulated within each function module.By theory analysis, process design, algorithms programming and performancetesting, the validity of this software platform was verified. The software platform ofimage processing in this paper has a certain practical value to architecture field. There are many technologies in the image processing software for the architecturefield. As time limited, our software has many parts to be improved. In the future, wewill gradually improve the image processing system for the architecture field and makeit to be some small auxiliary software by combining the practical work and furtherprogress.
