Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) can achieve topography elevation information accurately by using phase interferometric processing. It is an important technique for acquiring high precision digital elevation model (DEM) of a global scale rapidly. In this dissertation, we discuss the design and implementation of software architecture for InSAR data processing. This software can be able to deal with not only simulated InSAR data but also real InSAR data, such as those by ENVISAT and ERS satellites. We analyze and design the architecture of the software using Object-Oriented method, and establish a base for the software's implementation and future extension.According to the theory of InSAR and software engineering, we first discuss the basic principle and the processing flowchart of InSAR. After analyzing the software architecture, a model of software architecture design is proposed. In the following chapters, the implementation of the software architecture is presented in details. Finally, a summary is given and some problems need to be further solved and the research proposals are provided.
