The paper is derived from the Office of Academic Affairs of the student electiveelectronic management system of Inner Mongolia Electronic Information VocationalTechnical College, and focus on analysis of Student Course Selection System designissues and system implementation issues. The application design is J2EE, and itexplores the Web-based research. In addition, the paper also focused on the three-tierarchitecture of J2EE, and Web structures and systems, hierarchical design and itsframework and so on.The paper discusses the most popular NET and J2EE technology, and theWeb-based application architecture. It clears the main design framework, while clearlysets out the framework and its theoretical knowledge. On the basis of the B/S structure, the system has used the MVC developmentmodel. J2EE three-tier architecture includes three aspects:First, the data layer is basedon JDBC as the main storage data;Second, the business layer is used to implementcomplex database storage business.;Third, Web layer implements the data transferfunction between the business layer and client. The project system is able to run onTomcat6.0. and SQL Server2000is used as the system database server.Based on the needs analysis, The project basically achieves the functionalrequirements of the system. The system achieves the personal informationmanagement, course management, performance management and so on. Finally, itmeets the actual requirements of the school attendance system, and it reflects the J2EEcomponents, expansionand maintenance, etc.
