The Design And Application Of Network Teaching Platform Based On Web

Nowadays, with the rapid development of information technology, the application of modern education technology in the field of education makes computer quickly become the most outstanding thing in education media and education management. The using of the network resources in combination of the network teaching platform is an important supplement for the traditional teaching way and represents the developing direction of modern teaching technology.This paper studies how computer technology and network technology are applied into teaching. Combined the feature of network technology with the characteristic of computer aided with teaching management and based on the network teaching system of constructivism learning theory, we regard students as the center and their self-study as the major direction, and then design and fullfill a network teaching platform which is suitable for modern education on the basis of Web technology. In the process of designing the network teaching platform, it puts priority to analyze the requirement of designing deveploment. According to the results of analysis and in order to meet the needs of teaching, it designs the structure for the whole platform, defining and dividing the function and task of each module.At first, this thesis illustrates the current application of network teaching system at home and abroad. And then it introduces the key technology of the network teaching platform which is based on Web. Network teaching platform which is on the basis of Web technology adopts B/S structure, J2EE structure, Oracle database and JSP technology, including3kinds of users:students, teachers and administrators.It mainly fullfills some functions of network teaching platform such as the user login, course management, operations management, course online question and answer, BBS etc. The thesis takes the network teaching platform in Guangxi Vactional and Techonological College of Etocology&Engineering as an example and carefully introduces it in terms of several modules such as system register, curriculum management, and data management. In the teaching process of this network teaching platform, interactive learning is implemented, and the basic requirements of modern education technology and lifelong education are embodied.
