Research On Chinese Calligraphy Architecture Visualization

Calligraphy is a traditional art of China. In recent years, as people’s understanding of its artistic charm, calligraphy attracts extensive public attention. More and more people began to learn and study Chinese calligraphy.In this paper, an interactive calligraphy comparing and scoring system is implemented. The system segments and binaries the calligraphy image that the user inputs by using image processing technology, then extracts6features about the center, the size and the projection of the character. Comparing with the template character, these features are assessed by using an analysis based on fuzzy theory. Finally, the scores are displayed to the user visually.As an art, calligraphy cannot be evaluated by simply calculating. The system just tries to give an analysis of numerical features of calligraphy characters. The basic goal of the system is to help calligraphy learners effectively. By this system, the user could know about the details of their own calligraphies and the differences from the templates to learn calligraphy pointedly.
