At present, there is not a data center and management platform for scientific researchin our school. The daily scientific management relies heavily on manual operation. But inrecent years, with the school devoting herself to the scientific study and the increasingexponentially in the quantity of projects and papers, the management shows more andmore objectives and causes heavy workload of scientific manager and informationdistortion in transmission. So, it is be urgent need to design a practical system of scientificmanagement, according to the actual conditions of our school.This subject has its background of the fast development of information technologyand popularizingly building of ripe digital campus, designs and develops the system ofdiscipline construction and scientific research management for University of Jinan,associating the demanding of scientific research management in University of Jinan,referring to the program requirements of “the system of scientific research managementfor the Education Department of Shandong Province”.After a thorough knowledge of the dynamic and background of scientific researchmanagement system in home and abroad, the author gives hardware configuration andsoftware development environment; introduces some the most popular database developingtechnique and SQL, preferring MySQL as database of this system; separately introducesthe architecture and advantages and disadvantages of B/S design pattern and C/S designpattern, at last decides to use B/S,comparing both design patterns from8aspects; simplyintroduces J2EE platform based B/S structures and relevant technology and mainlyanalysises structure function and work principle of every layers in J2EE multilayerarchitecture technique; explains in detail3lightweight and open sourceframeworks--Struts、Hibernate and Spring by learning work principle of Struts2、IOCmechanism and AOP technology in Spring、the architecture of Hibernate. In the discussionof the entire design of the system, the author designs the picture of function structure、schema structure and technology framework, shows the hierarchic structure and thefunction in every layer, as well as codes corresponding layer in concrete development.Besides, the author also gives a detailed account of the design of database table and the connection with database. Finally, the function of the scientific research managementsystem is demonstrated through the completed user interface for registration、loginning、themain window、the modules of system management and main function. Meanwhile theauthor states and explains its key technologies of some functions in the form of concretecodes.
